    My Background

I use many different mediums, such as oils, acrylics, water colors, pen and ink, sculptor and pastels.  I believe that working in a single medium is restrictive to my artistic process. Each idea manifests in its own individual style.  The use of color gives the world a glimpse of the unique spiritual consciousness within the artist.

    My Inspiration

The inspiration of my artwork comes from nature that surrounds me as a blanket.  It is then that we are able to  hear what the soul has to say.  My artwork sometimes does not reflect nature; it's a part of nature. The significance of my artwork deals with light, color and sound, the direct channel for the expression of soul.

    My Blog

I will always appreciate the response letter I received from Oprah Winfrey regarding attending my art exhibit a few years ago.  Little does she know, I was to present her with a special piece of my artwork during her visit to Beaumont, Texas in 1987,  I  was unable to present this artwork due to my son Justin's birth.  Oprah is indeed a blessing to the world.
